I really like this tile, especially because there are such very different patterns working together. The top one, Bundies, I think, is very nice. Do you have a step out? (I can't find it on Tangle patterns.com)
Bundles is pretty with the blue. The red and black is absolutely stunning! The alternate lines pattern in Shattuck. It can be done straight or the soft curve.
This is a gorgeous tile! The section that you mention with the alternate lines looks like the tangle called, Zewm. Hope that helps! I am trying to picture the top in black and I think either way is great. Perhaps a black top would create more drama and leaving it white lends it to looking like a pretty fan. You can't go wrong either way in my opinion. Thanks for sharing it!
Margaret, I just posted the stepout for my new pattern Abundies on my newest blog. You find it here, it's all translated to english too, so you can also read the story behind the name... http://www.zenjoy.ch/2015/06/16/abundies-ein-muster-und-ein-bisschen-mehr/
Lovely, it looks like an old fashioned hand held ladies fan. I like it with the blank top.
