This was a fun challenge as I had spirals on the brain. I had been playing with
Alaura and had also just spotted Margaret Bremners post on
"curvy ING" , she is so amazing, so a spiral or curving Phicops it was to be.
Tan Zendala tile, brown micron, black micron, white and terra cotta prisma colored pencil.
Phicops and Diva Dance
This is beautiful. I love the spiral.
ReplyDelete...i like your entry a lot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and your Diva dance roses are stunning.
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is so nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is just soooobeautiful. One day, I too may do a tile like that. And I'll die happy.
ReplyDeleteDivine work.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular!
ReplyDeleteWow! Just wow! A beautiful tile!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is utterly amazing! Ax
ReplyDeleteDelicate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful design. A Stunning Tile. It takes real skill when patterns can merge into the background and a create a piece of art greater than its parts. The color and tone create a wonderful mood.
ReplyDeleteStriking! It's something you would frame and put on the wall of a classy, modern living room.
ReplyDeleteI agree with HeidiSue's comment. We are about to have a Fine Arts exhibition on Rittenhouse Square here in Philadelphia, and I'm thinking this would probably fit into that category and probably sell----if it were for sale.
ReplyDeleteStunning work. Like the dimension that you achieved that makes the spiral Phicops lift off the page. The Diva Dance looks like roses.
ReplyDeletea very elegant look
ReplyDeleteStunning, elegant and beautifully detailed, Debra. It's a joy to behold. Axxx
