I have been away from challenges for a couple weeks so it is nice to be back. This is the first time I have used ING and I can already see how flexible a tangle it can be. I started this tile one day and finished it over the next two. I was not liking this tile at first but, with persistence and refusing to acknowledge the little voice in my head that said "throw it out" over and over, I am submitting a tile that I think works.
Ing, Mooka, Flux, Printemps
I love your nice and bold ING, surrounded by the soft Flux, Mooka, and Printemps! I did one very similar on a black tile. Great minds think alike! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it works quite nicely! I like the Rounding in Ing inside a Dex-like border. Must try.
ReplyDeletevery nice. The rounded patterns you have used with it make a nice compliment to the pattern.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it does work. Like your ING variations and embellishing them with organic tangles.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to stick with an idea and let it develop over time. I have found that not all tiles need to be done in an hour or two. Lovely tile to submit I like your combination of tangles.
ReplyDeleteLove your ING tile! It looks like you had lots of fun creating it. Nice job :)
ReplyDeleteStay tangly,
Jacque

Wow, it did work!
ReplyDeleteGlad you kept this tile because it's lovely! It has all the right other tangles next to ING.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Tile. All of your patterns snuggle up to each other like old friends. Twere they cats, a lot of purring would be going on. Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteIt does indeed work - I like the balance of hard lines in ING and soft lines in your other tangles. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI would never have guessed this one had a shaky start. It looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly did work, well done for not ditching it.
ReplyDeleteI like your beautiful tile
ReplyDeletePerseverance certainly paid off. Great combination of tangles, and beautifully done.
