I love tangling these two together. The outcome is always interesting. Next time I would not choose to fill in the white Mooka with Gelly Roll as it is a little sloppy but was worth the experiment.
Beautiful Aura Knots! Very challenging approach which you pulled off beautifully in both tiles. I actually tried this - and gave it up. I love how you solved it.
That is so sweet of you! As you know everything in Zentangle looks complicated until you know the steps. This is just like combining two auraknots or introducing a ribbon. Thanks again for sharing.
They are so beautiful! My favourite is the first tile. To intertwine Mooka and Auraknot was also my first intention. But I did a similar one for the circle challenge, so I tried something new. I love your delicate colouring in the first tile but think the white and black Mooka in the second tile looks also great.
The first one is especially beautiful. It's like a star ornament has been left outside somewhere and Mooka has grown up through it. Not easily achieved!
Love them... both are deliciously great.... love the way you have gotten the mooka to travel inbetween the auroknot... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie
ReplyDeleteLovely both of them!
ReplyDeleteAwesome interaction between patterns in two very interesting designs. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI like them both. I especially like the black Mooka in the second one with that music note look about it.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! Your Mooka is inspiring -- I need to try some with more "texture" on the down stroke like yours.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love these!
ReplyDeletebeautiful Deb! Your Mooka is elegantly woven into the auraknot.
ReplyDeleteI like the tricolor version. The black & white serves the mooka so well.
ReplyDeleteI like how you wove Mooka in Auraknot. I tried this also, but was not as successful as you were. Like the shading in the first one.
ReplyDeleteWow, love the depth you're creating with having them pop in and through.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! Love them.
