Challenge #120 Tangleation Nation; Bales

How much fun to think of just one tangle and expand on it.  Well, I put tangles inside of tangles.  Is it still a tangleation?  No rules in Zentangle, but maybe not quite what the Diva had in mind.  I still had  fun with this and it has also helped me find some direction on a ZIA I have been thinking about doing. I will post on that later.

Even though the growing grass and unplanted garden are screaming at me to pay attention to them, I was able to block that out of my mind and eye long enough to complete two tiles. Different from each other, but both were fun and relaxing.

Bales, Yincut

Bales, Buttercup

  1. Boy, both of these are really great! And as far as putting one tangle in another tangle, that's my understanding of one way to do a tangleation. I also did Yincut in a section, but it looks totally different from yours. Just goes to show there's more than one way to skin a tangle. Great job!

  8. sure you did two beautiful tiles. I love the first one, it has a lot of movement, and I love the way you did fill bales in the upper left corner. Looks very nice and bold.

  10. Like the color in the first. The stretching gives a laced effect. Like the sphere. I think in some others I had inaccurately indentified Buttercup as 'Nzeppel They both work great.
