Inspired by Michelle Beauchamp's many beautiful ZIAs I tried my hand with her technique on this challenge which is to use the tangle Dansk by Margaret Bemner.
I will obviously need some practice and lighten up my hand a bit. It is always fun to experiment a bit. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't. Either way this was fun.
Tangles used are Buttercup, Tripoli and Dansk.
Debra you dansk weaves in and out of the other patterns to create a gentle beauty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and whimsical!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you have done this, it made me think of Jellyfish!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteExquisite!
ReplyDeleteThink you may be too hard on yourself. Like the Dansk floating through the intertwined tripoli and buttercup. Have to admit I had to look twice to see the tripoli. Your variation is very nice and unique.
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice. I love the way the triangle (with a great pattern) is hanging on to the circle and you've made the dansk creatures really dance. It has quite an aquatic feeling about it, too.
ReplyDeleteLike Faith, I see creatures dance; the creatures I see are jellyfisch :-) A beautiful zia!
ReplyDeleteI like this combination and your use of dansk!
ReplyDeleteLove your floating or swimming dansk with the trailing end lines! Your tripoli is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the over and under technique you used.
