I have not taken up challenges or focus tangles at Square One lately because I have been hooked on my inkblot pictures.
Here is the latest one I have finished.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am already looking forward to spring!
Like your verve in a grid. Is the bulging the difference between Zander and Skein?
ReplyDeleteHi Donald!
DeleteZander is an official tangle pattern and Skein originates from Sandy Bartholomew and is meant to be nestled side by side which You can find it in her book "Yoga for your Brain."
nice tile - I like the grid in the middle and skein around the outside - good work
ReplyDeleteVerve is lovely in a grid, especially with the hints of shade you've added. The ink blots are very interesting. I like the Aura around them. (Oh no, another idea to try!)
ReplyDeleteGreat tile and both treatments of the tangle wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour tile is lovely!!! The inkblot tile is stunning; I might try that.
ReplyDeleteGreat tile, I love the way Verve looks in a grid.
ReplyDeleteSuch great ideas to try this time around. Your inkblot is fascinating...do you "splot" when you finish the tangle work or do you add more tangle work later? Cool idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynell,
DeleteI have to say I LOVE Dreamweaver Stencils!
I "splot" first. Sometimes there is a suggested form or pattern to work from. I then fill with appropriate tangles. It is a lot of fun, especially if you ask others what they see in the splot. Sometimes it is something you havenot seen yet. I hope you try it, it is a lot of fun
Both are gorgeous! Love your inkblot project. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteinkblots let your mind wander. Fun!
DeleteVerve in grid form is luscious ( I started to do this). Your inkblot picture is nice.
