We are experiencing a Nor'easter here in Maine that will probably last through Wednesday. For those of you who are not familiar with this term, a Nor'easter is a crazy powerful storm which usually occurs in the winter months bringing lots of snow and all the problems that go with it.  In the Summer there are mighty winds and lots of rain.

Sitting in my enclosed porch I am watching the tiny humming birds brave the rain and wind repeatedly to come to the feeder for food.  Mighty little souls.

This is an Ed Roth Stencil, tangled, in their honor.

  1. It's beautiful. They are amazing birds to keep flying through all that!
