I have seen Camelia in others work and have used it myself once or twice but, it seems like a big tangle to get on a tile. I was able to get quite a lot of it on a tile and had a great time dong it. Just back from Tangle U and have many new things to try. Some, you will find here.
Camelia, Printemps, Drops, Black Pearlz (in brown)
pigma micron in brown and black, Caran d'Ache pencil in
english red and brown, graphite pencil.
Camelia in White Celly Roll, highlights Clear Star Gelly Roll, Dandy
in black glaze over a Zenstone wash.
Both are great! I really love the first one though. Lovely combo with the brown and black! I'm already missing everyone from Tangle U!
ReplyDeleteDebra, I would be the tall, short hair, blond... (however only my hairdresser knows for sure anymore!) I needed the hair cut?!? I think that we talked about that?
DeleteGorgeous, but I have a clear favourite in the first one. It's pure magic.
ReplyDeleteThey are both great. I like the two toned Camelia in the first one but I am going to go against the grain so far and say that I like the second one. The white really stands out and I like the zenstone wash. From the little I have heard so far, sounds like there were a lot of great things at Tangle U. have fun as you try out the new things.
ReplyDeleteOh my, how beautiful they both are! I would love to know how you got that effect on the gray one!! It's sooooo different!! Beautiful work!! :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful but the first one is my absolutely favourite :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your tiles - they are both so different from each other, and from others I've seen for the challenge. You've taught me to consider making a small part of the tangle very large - I'll try it myself soon.
ReplyDeleteStunning work, Debra - I think you have made a very lovely tangle into something very special in the first one. I also love the more freestyle second one. Axxx
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI really love both of your tiles!
ReplyDeleteDebra, these are both amazing. I fell in love with the first, until I saw the second!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! I love the red and black together and how you Printemps and Camelia seem to be "woven" together! The zenstone wash tile looks like batik. Truly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous in red and black (and white!). Beautiful tiles.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous tiles! Wonderful composition in both tiles... one complex yet the other so simple. Great work!
